1. Sort your whites and colours.
This is so important to ensure the colours do not run. This will also ensure your whites stay white.
2. Check the label.
The majority of school uniforms can be washed on a standard 30° or 40° wash, however it’s always best to check in case things like blazers ties or sportswear needs special care.
3. Treat the stains.

4. Wash blazers and embroidered items inside out.
By turning the garment inside out whilst washing will prolong the life of the uniforms badge. You will also want to do the same when ironing.
5. Take care when drying the uniform.
Uniforms can be temperamental so check the labels before your try to quickly dry them in the tumble dryer.

Washing School Blazers
Blazers tend to be easier to wash than you may think, the tricky part is remembering to double-check the pockets. Most blazers can be placed in the wash on a cool cycle with other dark items. We would then recommend leaving the blazer to dry on the washing line or dry as naturally as possible to prevent shrinking.
Washing Sports Kit
You can guarantee that at some stage you will be dealing with a grass stain or two.
If it’s oily do not rub the stain, simply press with kitchen roll or a paper towel and then rub some original fairy washing up liquid directly onto the stain. This can seem alarming considering the liquid is green but trust the process. Fairy up liquid is an oil-buster – after all, it removes the grease from our dishes?
